Tyres in Guatemala
 

Hello

I need new rubber for the bike soon (R1100GS on Metzler) and I always heard its cheap and easy there (Guatemala). Anybody here who can give me hard facts and maybe ... names and addresses?

At the moment I'm a little bit sceptical, because the beemer dealer in Guadalajara (MEX) told me about 4 weeks to wait for the tires!

Don't know what size your wheels are, but...

FRK in Zona 9, Guatemala City stocks Bridgestones. Ask for 'discuento', and you should pay 100-120/pair.

There is a BMW dealer at Bavaria Motors who do a lot of business. (GS's are popular in the city. If you are in Antigua on a weekend morning, you should see a large group of them).
