Triumph Dealers in South America

Hi my name is Mike and this is my first post, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place.
I am currently riding my UK registered Triumph Tiger Explorer in Argentina. I started in Buenos Aires and am currently in a campsite in Rada Tilly headed for Ushuaia. After that, who knows.
I was contacted by my UK Triumph dealer today, who told me my bike has been recalled by Triumph to have a new Electronic Control Module fitted.
My question is, does anyone have any experience of Triumph dealers in South America, the good, bad and indifferent?
I need to bring in to my thinking that at some in the future I could build in to my trip a visit to a dealer, but I’d like to know which one to aim for.
Included in any info you have would be whether the dealer speaks any English. I can get a beer and a pitch on a campsite, but my Spanish is going nowhere with getting a new ECM fitted under warranty.
My access to WiFi is patchy, so if you have been kind enough to respond and I have not replied, it is simple that I‘m off the grid.
As an aside, my travel blog is at 2wheeltravels | Mike's trip to South America.
Many thanks for your help

I'm pretty sure there is a Triumph dealer in Buenos Aires. But email or CALL Triumph UK to be sure.

That said, if you're ECM is working fine and your bike has not acted up in any way ... I would not worry in the least about getting the part replaced. Many times recalls cover a wide range of bikes ... but REALLY only apply to a smallish number. If you dictate your VIN number to Triumph they could probably advise you. My guess is they'll say "no worries, carry on".

In any case, I doubt any dealer in S. America will be stocking the replacement ECM ... so that would mean they'd have to order it from UK ... then a two to three week wait ... on your shilling. No deal.

Keep riding ... and take a Spanish class somewhere along the way. It's basic.

Triumph in Santiago

There is a big dealership in Santiago.
A good bunch, some of them can get along in English.
