I met him once and when he found out I wanted to live near to Medellin, he starting finca-hunting for me. I ended up in Bogota, but his spirit summed up for me my reasons for moving to Colombia. He was a big noise on the Colombian scene, always welcoming. You might have met him too. Say so, if you did.

Met Tiberio at the first Creel, Mex. HU meet. Still have the hand drawn maps he did for me. A truly nice guy.
He had, out of the goodness of heart, volunteered to help me to purchase and register a Honda in Medillin, Colombia, and set it up for a trip, but he passed away before we could get it done.
He will be sorely missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tiberio also. He rescued me from 200 miles away with his truck when my motorcycle broke down. When he had his shop motoangel he was known for fixing his friends/ family and travelers bikes for next to nothing. He would also organize large rides for free and book all of the hotels.

He was passionate about life and it is a shame the he died so early.
