storage South America?
 

My bike is parked in Seattle and temporary import runs out end of June. I would like to ship/ride it down to South America for storage until Spring 2014when I can continue my travels. Did anyone crack the place to store a bike (anywhere) where I can freeze a temporary importation doc till then. Did someone mention Peru allows this?

Try Kevin Lemes in Montevideo, (lemes54@hotmail.com) I left my moto with him for 3mths @ US$50.00 per mth. Kevin's dad has a really good m'cycle shop and can sort out anything you need doing whilst it is in storage and the storage for motos is excellent. Kevin speaks very good english and has also spent time riding around S.America. He should be able to sort out a 1 yr. temp import permit for you and riding your bike through Montevideo is a lot safer than B.A. Ride safe.
