Storage 2 months in Belem or Macapa, Brazil
 

Anybody can recommend a storage place there?

There's an active motorcycling community in Belém, and they're friendly and supportive of overland riders. I don't know that I can give you names and numbers, but you could try the communities pages or just Google (site:horizonsunlimited.com Belem Brazil).

You could probably find a place in Macapá easily enough, but it's not really the sort of place you want to visit twice.

I agree fully with most of Mark's advice. However, my wife and I rather enjoyed Macapá for the few days that we were there, so I wouldn't necessarily steer away from it. But it may be easier to find support in Belém.

Additionally, based on your travel direction, it may be nice to return to your bike on the "right" side of the river (that is, in Belém) so you can ride out rather than beginning again with a float. Just another thought...
