Hi.
We are stuck in Puerto Natales in southern Chile, My friends 08 Doohicky has spat it. FIX THIS F'IN PROBLEM KAWASAKI.

Need new ballancer sprocket that drives the coolant pump. And of cause the spring! (aftermarket) How to we get stuff sent here? Can we get it expressed to a postoffice?

Anyone experienced this issue?

You can have parts sent FedEx from outside Chile, but I think the KLR is sold in Chile, so you should be able to get the parts from Santiago. I am a Kawasaki dealer in the US, so if you have problems getting the parts, let me know via email and I will see what I can do.

We ended up posting used parts fedx US to Punta Arenas (took a week) and found Motoesca while we were looking for tires. He had them send overnight from santiago and allowed us to clean out a carb in his workshop, highly recomend.

We now have the parts and are back with the bike in Punta Natales after riding 2up to Ushuaia and back. Hope to be on our way north to warmer weather in the morning.
