Selling KTM in Buenos Aires
 

I´m currently in Patagonia having ridden down from Equador - sadly back to UK in early November. I´m on a KTM 640 Adventure 2005, and my mate´s on a KTM 990 Adventure 2006. Rather than have the expense of shipping them back to UK, we wondered if there´s a market for them here, and how that works. Obviously they´re regestered in UK, but we´ve got the documents so presumably the buyer could get them re-regestered if they want. We´ll be in BA end october for a few days - flying out 5th Nov. Both bikes in excellent condition and serviced in Chile with new back tyre.

I don't know if it is possible to sell the bike to international customers, I am sure you cannot sell it locally as it will be an illegal importation; I am also interested to Know what kind of paperwork is needed

Ride 1200 km to the North (2 days of fairly good road) and search for Klein Motos reports on the forum.

Fly back to UK from Asuncion. Easiest and most confortable option imho.
