I am in nazca at this stage but will be heading south within a week i heard that the area of salta has been getting a lot of rain .if any one can comfirm or deny this will help my choice of route to the south.

I am reading a lot of weather report with rain in Bolivia so if anyone can comfirm or deny the fact that the road condition are really bad or ok ,I will appreciate the feedback . No point of riding the salta if flooded.

I'm not sure if you mean the Salar? The salt flats? If so,

My friends were there 3 days ago. They took a tour in a Land Rover.

There was no water, and the Salar was completely dry.
