Roads from Venezuela to Guyana?
 

Hello all,
Does anyone know if there is a road from Venezuela into Guyana?
I have looked at three different maps and they all show the road stopping 30k or so before the border.
Has anyone been through there?
Is there a road or dirt track?
Any help would be great. Thanks in adavance.

Hi,

I did the road in the wettest of the wet. Pretty rough. If you search on this site, and the net with the words "lethem to linden" the to towns where the track is between you ll find lots of info. Also some pictures on my website.

I'm not sure but I've been told by people here that there is a new road into Guyana. Yes a paved one! It's just been made and I have been told to ask the National Guard about where to go. If I find anything out, I'll post.
