Peru to Brazil by boat
 

Currently in Pucullpa, Peru. Looking at shipping myself and a bike by boat to Iquitos (Peru), then from there, on to Manaus, Brazil. Anyone have any experience with this route? Thanks - Bluenoser

I've only been on two houseboat trips out of Iquitos, but I can tell you there's lots of boat traffic between Pucallpa and Iquitos, and east from Iquitos to Brazil. I'm sure it can be done easily with a bike. Probably even with a Unimog.

i have not done it personally but i met a couple people that did it in the last couple of years. i heard that from iquitos to brazil the boats are small and over crowded. let me know how it goes because that is a trip i´m dreaming about doing :thumbup1: good luck!
