Peru, bike registration
 

Hi,

I am heading to Lima to buy a bike there since local people say it is quite doable to buy and register in my name a bike in Peru. Just to confirm with more experienced people - does anybody know whether being a tourist I can do it in Peru legally no problem and then be able to cross the borders and go further, finally send it home or sell somewhere in Brasil?

Would be really grateful for any hints. Thanks!
