Hi Zarou

What can of bike do you expect to buy ?

Buy in Santiago...

Hi!

I want the one that's able to ride from Chile up to Mexico. That's the plan I have and as soon as don't expect to sell it in Mexico for a reasonable money (or even to sell it at all) I've limited the buying price. So if there's a working stuff with two wheels and engine between - it's ok :)
But if there's a choice I'd prefer Honda or an old BMW. However it's all flexible including the price.

Regards
Roman

Buy in Santiago

Hi!

Thanks for the link. I don't speak Spanish but it's ok, I can understand. I've just searched it and there are not a lot offers in Metropolitana.

What about the type of the bike - I'd prefer tourist class (Africa Transalp GS etc). All are subject to talk, however!

Roman

Honda TransalP 600

Hi,
I am going to have a trip in December/January to Argentina and Chile with my Honda Transalp 600, red flame coloured wonderful!
The bike has 33.000Km and after my trip it will have more or less 10.000 Km more and it has been produced in 1999.
After the trip I will sell it , as I would like to avoid to pay the shipping expenses back to Europe
In case you ae interested please contact me even by pm

P.S.: The bike has Italian plate so It has to be investigated how paperwork has to be done for property transfer to your home country

Hi, I am Juan from Chile, actually I am living in Paris for a while, the problem is that in chile the bikes , in general, second hand o brand new, are extremely expensive. USD 5,000, means close to CLP 2.400.000 . As a way as advice, If you expect purchase bike in Chile, you should bring with you a transmision kit, and you can install in Stgo.

I am sending you some bike that I found according to your budget.

Chileautos: Kawasaki Klr 650 KLR 1997 $2.250.000
Chileautos: Honda Dominator 650 1991 $2.500.000

To larrychile:
Juan thanks for the links. I've searched chileauto.cl again by myself and found Africa Twin for an appropriate price. I think it's better option than Kawa even if it's a bit older. It's old good AFRICA however! :))
But I got a problem to contact the seller. The site requires me to enter RUT number into the message form but that's the thing I don't have. I'd appreciate if you can help me to contact that guy. Here's the link: Chileautos: Honda africa twin 1989 $2.300.000

Thanks in advance!
Roman
