missing travelers
 

My nephew and three of his friends last e-mailed us from the Port town of San Julian in Argentina, I believe. They were having trouble crossing the border into Chili. They are professional fishermen and camera men and are all in their 20's. They are pulling a very small trailer packed full behind a jeep. We last heard from them on Feb 19 and they talked about maybe going to look at a penguin colony. All of the young men are from the US. My nephews name is Chris Owens. My girlfriend and I were in Puerto San Julian 3 days ago. Everything´s calm here.

Twelve days without news in that area of the world seems normal, especially for fishermen. They probably found a beautiful lake in the Andes with tons of fish but no internet access.
