Cheers for posting. Have emailed some mechanics I know in Peru to keep their eyes open for him. If I think of anyone else I'll pass it on.

Hope he's alright. Fierce nice guy. He helped me get my bike going back in Chile in February!

Haven't met the fella, but (as we all) sincerely hope he's OK. I'm currently in Perú and am keeping an eye out for him and am showing his face wherever I stay. Hopefully it's just a case of him giving social media a break and him reappearing, wondering what the fuss was about.

According to the UK police, Mr Nye has been found safe and well in Peru :clap: Currently no further information available.
