Mechanic in La Paz
 

Hi all,

We are driving 2-up on a Suzuki DL650 and we want to get new tyres and a full service in La Paz. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic.

It would be a bonus if they could speak some English as we want to have a few things checked out that may be difficult to explain in Spanish, but we can if we have to.

Try Nosiglia Honda. Avenida Costanera 29, Calacoto La Paz. This is in the southern end of La Paz.
Walter Nosiglia is the owner and i'm pretty sure he speaks english. His head mechanic/workshop manager (Efrain) is also a nice guys and knows his stuff.

They also have some tyres in stock but won't be the cheapest place to find them.

Dont use the cheapest places in Bolivia i bought a DID chain there but it keeps breaking so must have been a fake ;)

i would just like to add my appreciation of Nosiglia in La Paz.

I asked them to change my front tyre (bought with me from the UK). Not a problem. They took the wheel off & went away in a pick up to get it fitted. By the time I got back from a stroll around the market nearby, the wheel was back on and the bike cleaned! All for 50 Bob.
