Looking for actual infos south Brazil and Uruguay
 

Hi there!

I'm planing my next trip in May from Montevideo to south of Brazil up to northest line Iguazu/Florianópolis.
I'm looking fo recommendations for interesting places to stay and sightseeing which are not mentioned in South American Footprint.
I'm also interested in acual infos about border crossing between Uruguay and Brazil in both directions, good ones and which is better to avoid!

Hello, don´t miss Aparados da Serra Park and the canions on the border of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, and also Serra do Rio do Rastro, very scenic. If you like some light offroad, all the area around Aparados da Serra is very nice, I can give more details if you wish.

To the extent possible, try to stay away from main roads. Secondary roads in Santa Catarina are very nice for motorcycle riding.
