Long term storage in Brasil?
 

Hi,
After travelling from Santiago Chile to Ushuaia then riding up to Columbia. We're now planning another trip from Uruguay through Brazil, Venezuela and finishing in Columbia but this time want to split the trip rather than six months away. So we're looking to store the bike (Spanish registered) in northern Brasil for maybe 6 months.
Does anyone have up to date information if this is possible as the TVIP is 90 days I believe.
Can we leave the country without the bike?
Is it possible to store the bike in Brazil?

your best try legally will be uruguay,illegally foz do iguazu.
my last info you get 90 days and can only come back after another 90 days for yourself and your bike.

Manzini is half right, mercosur nationals get 90 days every 180days, the clock stops if you exit.
Non mercosur nationals get 90 days every 360days, clock stops when you exit
(Just make sure you get properly stamped out)
