KLR650 for sale in Lima, Peru
 

I'm flying home from Lima May 1st and I'm having a hard time finding options for shipping my bike home. Anyone interested in taking over the trip and riding Rosita (my KLR) in South America? ...it's beautiful down here.

I think transferring the title to another US rider would be fairly easy and we could fake the temporary import permits but I'm not sure about other countries.

Also, I've heard that some locals are willing to buy the bike illegally, even though I technically can't sell the bike in Peru, to Peruvians. Anyone know if there's any reprocations that could come from doing that?

I'm still looking for the legal way and shipping it home but those options are looking less and less appealing and more and more expensive.
