Interoceanic Highway - Info
 

Dear adventure seekers,

We thought of following the Interoceanic highway from Peru to Rio.

It turned out, in comparison to all the other major route we have done, there is very little information like travel reports and the like, available for this one.

Why? Are there not points of interest?
Can anybody share a link or any other information like POIs nice detours or places to stay?

do you mean the interoceanic passing through Bolivia or above Bolivia?

I was referring to the route north of Bolivia.

Looks an interesting possibility for continuing our trip when we go back to Cusco to pick up the camper.
Would be good to know if they keep the road open during winter, or even if there is a problem with snow.
