From Argentina to Peru
 

Iam traveling on my GS1100 from Argentina to Peru, I am a permanent resident in Argentina, Can anybody help me know what type of documentation I need to enter those countries.

Resident not citizen?You need a Passport.
Bike papers(insurance,Cedula verde if argentinian,i think for Peru you will need a visa.
Aske for more information the peruvian consulate in BA.

I went several times from argentina to Chile and afterwards to Peru (passing Bolivia). I was never asked for visas and that stuff. The only time I was ever asked for insurance papers was in Argentina (Near San Juan) and since the paper was in english (and the policeman could not read english, he did not realise that this green paper he had in his hands was just valid in Europe.

In Bolivia and Peru I was never asked for any paper (insurance). The only thing you need is your passport as well as the paper which says that the bike you ride is yours. Then you have to get that document called "temporario importation del vehiculo" at the border of each country and thats all.
