quick tip just flew panama to quito, got best rate and direct flight with Copa Cargo - just go to cargo airport and ask around. 700 usd for two bikes.

Don't hesitate to go to Bogota instead of Ecuador. Did that in Dec, and had great experience in Colombia. Also cheaper flight on Girag from Panama.($250, plus $75 hax cargo fee.Left gas in tank and battery connected) Mountain roads in Colombia were real challenge and exciting. Cold to hot every few minutes and people were very friendly.--Porter
