I have to pick up an aircraft in Antarctica and move it to Europe - I am not entirely sure what the route will be (an outside organization does that service), but there is a fair amount of malaria in the tropical areas of South America - at least, according to the map I got from Zurich University hospital - so, I will take the medication as a preventative measure.
