Cusco for Xmas
 

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for accommodation that might be fun in Cusco over Xmas? There is the Hostal Estrellita mentioned elsewhere on this site but any ideas much appreciated.

this was reply i got from wild rover hostel in cusco when i was checking for options.
i ended up at estrellita - loved the low-fi style and meeting other riders and cyclists.
but the rover could be more "lively" beer bier at christmas.

Thanks guys, there's some ideas to follow up there. I'm travelling "light" and at 52 I think I'm entitled to skip the camping this trip :-)

All I remember about Cusco and the Inca Trail was being out of breath most of the time, and then some idiot had the idea that we could all show the locals how to do the hokey cokey. Nearly died.
