crossing the border Equador, Colombia
 

I would like to cross at Lago Agrio in Equador to Puerto Colon on the Rio San Miguel in Colombia and on to Puerto Asis and Mocoa. Anyone has info on river crossing at this point It would be helpfull, thanks. Jason

Sorry to say this, but I strongly would not recommend visiting Mocoa or Puerto Asis right now. FARC guerrillas have been quite active over there, so there might be some risk. Instead, go Tulcán-Ipiales-Pasto. Anyway, if you´re interested on jungles or huge plains, go further north and you´ll see plenty of them.
