Maybe older style cables, but If you buy cables from BMW, don't lube them. The dirt will enter after you remove the rubber, and if they are lubed, they will be sticky in no time. BMW recomends you do not lube their cables for good reason, they are coated with teflon and don't need it. Any other cables, i don't know?
+1 on Dodger's recomendation on getting your cables built. Your in S.America where people fix everything!
+1 on getting two built and placing side by side, it's a great idea, and the re-built cable might not last as long as an original.

I was indeed wrong on that, jerry-rigging being a combination of 'jerry-built' (meaning shoddy, poorly done) and jury rigged.....

Well enough nautical semantics, I should get off to my 50cc of pure restricted power and deliver some pizzas. Luckily its a bit warmer now so my balls will stay on their monkey, and work aren't making me stay late to swab the deck.
