Bit out of date ... but I read that ride report as well ... and was stunned the guy went to all that trouble ... ended up ruining his BMW and paying two or three times a boat ride. Miserable. Open Ocean is no joke.
He had every bit of bad luck ... failed out board motors, bad weather ... and building the raft was no easy task. I think he could have bought a used Panga (Launcha) for less. |
