Hey Marcel
Contact Javier at www.dakarmotos.com. He is in Buenos Aires and a good contact. Also check out www.atic.org regarding africa twins (similar to the TA). I think it describes how to open the cdi and resolder the loose connections due to vibration or compression under the seat.

Hope this helps
CHRIS

Hi, I’m here
The CDI are possible to fix if you find a properly one to do it, the most of the fault on that’s are about the lusted contacts between the main card and the plug but also can be others components. Better if you find a electronic motorbike guy to fix it. Also see here: http://www.atic.org/faq/cdi.html
In argentine is possible to find a CDI made in here by a company call DZE than works very well maybe better than the original because are reinforced and also cheaper(around $200.- argentine pesos). I don’t know if some one sell that’s ones in Chile.
Sorry but from BA to Santiago I cant do anything more.
Regards
Javier…

hello marcel

hope you ll fix your problem very soon.
if not, i land in santiago directly from paris on 01 february : i can buy you stuff in paris and carry them in my luggage (no customs i guess) : if necessary, let me know exactly what you need.

cheers

nb : i ll buy a small local bike in santigo, honda cg125 style or even xr250 style, for a budget of 500 euros maybe more, according to the market.
if you see/hear anything to help me, i d appreciate, or any infos on the bike market

The solution that Vincent offer you is the best solution. Honda Chile (www.honda.cl) sure can sell you the CDI but: 1) Sure they don´t have it here, need to import. 2) For the price that Honda Chile will ask you probably in Europe you can get the CDI and new tires.

I know that some electronics technicians can repair it, but I don't know who.
