Cape Horn Island
 

I have been working on a trip down to the cape soon but I have heard a few people mention that reaching the island was not possible. I was wondering if anyone had reached the cape and how you did it. I know a boat is need to reach it but I figured you could chart one from a local or somewhat local port city.

You can't have done much research, there are several companies in Punta Arenas, which is in Chile, as is Cabo de Horno; therefore, weather permitting, going ashore should be no problem. There may also be some trips from Ushuaia but as that is in Argentina you might need a passport to invade. (at least) Ride and sail safe.
