Buenos Aires arrival advice?

Hey guys,
me and a mate of mine have arranged to air freight our bikes from london to buenos aires in a couple of weeks time in order to head on up to Canada via Tierra del Fuego. I was wondering if anyone out there had any info on what to expect on arrival in BA in terms of getting our bikes through customs and general beurocracy, and onto the road. Anyone had/know of any particular problems that are likely to occur and any ways to get round these?
Any advice would be really appreciated as getting a few pre-departure nerves....
Thanks.

I did the reverse of your planned trip and exited BA.That was easy enough,I used Lufthansa and their staff were pretty helpful. It can't be as corrupt as coming in at Heathrow. They stung me £150 for customs clearance and £50 for handling fee.
I am sure someone on here has air freighted into Buenos Aires and could let you know the score.
The HU community may be able to help you out.Really nice people as goes for most of the Argentinians you will meet.
Try not to rush out of BA thinking you have to get on your way as soon as possible.I felt like that when arrriving in Canada and was apprehensive of what laid ahead and would I be able to do the distance in just 6 months.Relax and enjoy you will still have 'hammock time' on the beach !
