Brazil To Columbia Or Peru By Bus?
 

I just about reached the end of my adventure accross the continent and getting ready to sell my bike and head back to the states. Im in itacare near salvador in bahia and all flights back to the states from brazil right now are at least $750. So I thought that i might be able to hop a long bus ride to Columbia or Peru and catch one of the many cheap flights from either Lima or Bogata. Anyone have any info on buses that go this route and about how much they cost? Thanks

The only direct international bus will be from Sao Paulo to Lima.
From Salvador via eg Brasileia , Prto Maldonado, Cuzco, Lima will envolve lots of buss changes, therefor a much more exciting trip
