Hi y´all

I´m new to this site, love it etc...

Any one of you guys is planning or currently travelling in South America with a 500+ Dual-Purpose or Adventure bike? (Transalp, KLR650, etc.) (preferrably with sideracks) and planning to sell it (or you happen to be short on cash and you already sold your granddaddies watch to a pawn?)

I´m living in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and can lodge you while you are looking for a bicycle, a pair of running shoes or a train ticket. Just bring your papers and leave your private mail-adress on this site!

Bye

Tim

I am planning on selling my outfitted KLR650 in May in Bolivia or Peru. Is that too late for you?

Hi Tim,
We have a Yamaha Super Tenere XTZ750 modified and fitted out for long distance long term travel. It is capable of carrying two people and luggage if necessary. You can see a photo of it on www.horizonsunlimited.com/tstories/peck We can get it to Bolivia in March, if you are interested.
Email back when you can

hey timido,
I should be in the area in early jan/feb. I've got a 2002 KLR650 with Happy Trail Panniers, bashplate, corbin seat. By the time it gets to you it should have just about 10,000 miles. If you are interested maybe we can work something out. I might be moving to ecuador...

Hi all,

Thanks for the offers. I bought a 2000 KLR today, 19000 miles, with some goodies. It needs some minor checkups and a pair of license plates (...) and then...

So thanks again, I´ll delete my first message in a week or so, and will try to ask around for other interested buyers.

Since yesterday Bolivia is officially a McDonalds-free country. Great motive for a visit, don´t you think so?

Bye and happy rides

Tim
