Advice - Buying a used motorbike in South America
 

Hi,

Just a little note to all those knowledgeable people out there asking for advice or assistance on buying a used motorbike in south america.

To give you a brief rundown I have been in SA for about 2 weeks now (currently in BS AS, argentina) and have found it extremely tough to find a bike here. Unfortunately, I had two bikes that I was going to buy from fellow travellers but both fell through at the last moment.

I am on the way to Patagonia tomorrow with a mate of mine and was wondering if anyone had contacts or ideas for bikes on the chilean side of the border. I would optimally love to buy the bike there to drive north to venezuela. In terms of bikes anything is good but I was thinking maybe a 400cc Honda NX falcon as a good local bike.
