2 Weeks in Chile- Argentina
 

I feel a bit of a cheat asking these questions here to all you independent travellers. I will be in Chile next March and intend hiring a car in Puerto Montt for 2 weeks. Intention is to drive to Villa O'Higgins, Cross into Argentina and back up to Bariloche and and back to Puerto Montt. I enjoy looking at scenery, taking short walks and driving the roads. Is this a feasible journey? Any inputs appreciated. Will stay in cheap hotels guest houses. Is there a need to pre book

March is not a holidays period (January Febuary), so you wont have any problem finding accomodation in that period. La Rota de los 7 lagos is a Must See for the beauty of the landscapes, El Bolson for its atmosphere.
