Lali Opa guest house is right outside the main entrance (west gate) to Khiva old city. The rooms are a bit scruffy but have private bathroom with sit down toilet & shower, air conditioning. They have 4 rooms, a twin, 2 doubles & a 4 bed dorm. Off road parking is available on the drive. Breakfast is included & they can provide dinner on request. Nodir who runs it is very helpful and speaks English. I had a private room to myself for $15 or a dorm bed is $12. Very good value!
