Guatemala, Antigua - free camping downtown
 

Antigua is THE tourist-highlight of Guatemala. Unfortunately it has by far the higherst prices we experienced in 6 weeks in this country (haven´t been to the capital so far).

BUT: you can camp for free at the very centrally located Tourist Police - 24h security, zero-stars-showers/toilet and WIFI officially provided by the cops are all included!
It´s so good, we couldn´t believe it at the beginning.

Don´t expect a 5 stars campground. But for low-budget travellers it´s a HIT!
