Antigua Guatemala - Greg's Place
 

If you need any help with anything or just a place to stay in Antigua, find Gregory Hilchey. He's posted on the Pan American Riders Association group on Facebook that he welcomes travelers and has a room at his to stay. He's traveled by moto himself and totally gets it.

We've taken him up on it, and it's been a great experience! Greg and his wife have extended boundless hospitality, letting us stay as long as it takes to fix the bike. Greg got us in touch with Tony at Motopsycho (excellent mechanic that totally gets the traveler thing and speaks excellent English).

PS, did I mention he owns Brooklyn Pizza in town. Excellent pizza and beers and he always welcomes riders popping by whether they're just saying Hi or there's something he can help them with...

Antigua Must Stop
 

I learned of this restaurant from a post by the owner Greg Hilchey on a motorcycle forum, offering a free pizza to any motorcyclist passing through Antigua.

So, our group of four riders decided to look him up once we got to Antigua. I'm glad we found Brooklyn Pizza Co. Greg followed through on him commitment and not comp'ed our pizza but bought us drinks. That's the kind of care and love put into this place.

The pizza was authentic New York style. Yes, really Brooklyn Pizza in Antigua, Guatemala.

And check out the bar too. When we were there it was a great mix of travelers, locals and expats. So much fun trading stories and laughs.
