Wild camping Portugal/Spain
 

I am heading down to Portugal via ferry to Santander on my bike in a couple of weeks and want to wild camp a fair bit on the trip ( going for a month) No definite destination but probably will end up on the south coast and Barcelona at some point.

I have seen conflicting reports on wild camping in both Spain and Portugal. I have also found a lot of recommended wild camping spots. Has anyone here done much wild camping there? Also, any official campsites worth visiting? Any recommendations on great roads (I am on a road bike) would be welcome too!
