Turkey, Istanbul, Any Suggestions?
 

Hi,

Any suggestions on a budget place to stay in Istanbul for 3 or 4 nights? Just had a quick search and the results seem quite old.

Sinbads hostel has been recommended more than once. We didnt stay there but spoke with them back in june so they are still up and running. Decent location, we just decided we wanted a hotel for a few days. We stayed at Grand Mark having got a reasonable deal by using the web, about 40 euros a night, but they were excellent.

In Sınbad's now, usıng the free ınternet ın the lobby, lovıng the ıncluded breakfast bıkes locked to the wındow bars outsıde and payıng Eur7 a nıght for a bed ın a 6 bunk dorm. Wınner. Cheers.

Ouch that's a deal. Last August I had the choice of EU20 for a bed in a 20-odd bed dorm in a central hostel, or EU50 for my own room. I went for my own room, it was sweaty enough with one person let alone 20.
