I believe the hotel south of Salamanca is Mozárbez.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel in Caceres?

Ideally with secure parking.

In my experience secure parking isn't necessary in inland Spain, a chain around a lamp post is more than enough (and even going that far might get some bemused looks from the locals)

Try Extremadura Hotel, it has a garage for parking. A bit further out from the old town though.
