Germany - Bremen, Hostel
 

Hi All :)

Thought I'd let you know about a very bike friendly hostel we stayed in in Bremen. And yes. it's predominantly bike friendly thought the biker will be looked after too.

The accommodation is low budget and basically clean, though it could do with some renovation. It has a fun Irish theme to it.

The owner, a biker himself and a bit of a traveler, is an awesome, laid back guy with lots of stories to tell. He's super helpful if you need any bike related info, knows the area well and you can spend hours chatting to him. (He is also a lorry driver and told us an excellent spot in Bremerhaven to have our bikes cleaned prior to shipment to Australia - it's where they clean all the lorries.)

And he'll budge up his bikes in the garage to fit yours in too for some safe off street parking :)

Just to give you an idea of his priorities: The hostel just had its safe stolen straight out of reception two days before we arrived and there was not video footage or anything of it. But the garage has cameras everywhere and is locked twice as carefully!
