If anyone is looking for a bike friendly B&B in County Durham i can highly recommend Bonners Lodge B&B.
it is located just off the A68 between Tow law and Consett, property is about a mile of the A68 in country surroundings with a secure barn for parking bikes(not that they need to be inside here)
guest rooms are new and breakfast awesome.
striking distance of Scottish borders and some of the best biking roads in the UK
