Crossing Myanmar From Thai into India September

I am planning to ride cross Myanmar from Thailand into India in early September this year. Is there anyone there making the same way? We can group to cut down cost.
Preliminary, I am in contact with Myanmar expert travel & tours. Their quotation as follows:

Day 1 - Measot Thai - Myawaddy - Hpa An. 160km
Day 2 - Hpa An - Taungoo - 400km
Day 3 - Taungoo - Bagan - 540km
Day 4 - Bagan
Day 5 - Bagan- Monywa - 220km
Day 6 - Monywa - Kalay - 200km
Day 7 - Kalay - Tamu - Moreh (India) - 128 km

Tour cost USD 3200 - 1 bike
USD 4500 - 2 bike
USD 5000 - 3 bike
USD 5500 - 4 bike
Incl permission fee, escourt fee,guide fee, liasion officer fee, insurance and road tax.

Is there anyone who have gone thro the same way any comments or other recommended tour co. ?

Hello there,
Thought to give an update on my preparation to cross Myanmar. I have engaged the Burma Senses Travel & Tours company (email burmasenses ax gmail.com or infoburmasenses.com) for the 12 days travel across Myanmar. Start at Mae Sot, Thailand; End at Moreh, India. The pack includes; all permits, toll gate fees, hotel & b/fast, pilot car and guide. Not included; visa, personal expenses, zone fees. As I was informed, there are 6 people in the group. It cost me $1215.
We will start on 16 September 2015.

Crossing Myanmar from Thailand to India 25 Aug 2015
 

We are crossing Myanmar from Thailand to India on Tues 25 Aug... we are using Burma Senses and their 12 day crossing plan... Min Min is our contact.

Our group is 3 people: 2 riders plus 1 person in the guide vehicle. If we get a 4th person the cost will be US$1,350 per person for 12 day crossing.

Sorry I cannot make it your date due to other commitments. However, I hope we could meet up somewhere along the route may be in India or Pakistan.

Did something change recently? Last I checked these borders were closed, it was not possible to cross overland from Burma to India.

Maybe you should check it again... ;-)

Hi, Im now in Mandalay Myanmar, can anyone update me with border cross between Myanmar and India at Tamu/Moreh? Is there any restriction along India side? I have India visa and bike's carnet. Will be crossing there 25 Sep. Any update much appreciated.
