Unsure about route
 

My wife son and I are planning 11 month trip from Canada to south america
each one on a DR 650,s all with 30liter tanks in july 2010.

Question is I'm looking at a route that takes the Brasil hwy # 174 north from
Bao Vista to hwy #10 in Venezuela to Upata but there seems to be a gap on google maps that is blank , does hwy # BR174 join with hwy # 10 or does it end.?
And if it does continue what kind of condition is this route in.?
