Totally nuts needing a little help with border crossings

Sorry I'm new here so apologise in advance if I've posted in the wrong section, but could do with knowing if the Iran and Burma borders are open to bikes at the moment with relevant documents? A bit of background on me, To cut a long story short, I'm a Yorkshire lad, currently travelling around Australia, in an old ute I bought, basically because I was getting married and thanks to the evil mother in law, no longer am so in haste tried The whole "find yourself your only 23" saga. Any way, I submitted my English car licence in the other day and in return got a south oz licence......apart from the nice lady put a full bike licence on there too, I've grown up building classic ford rally cars and to be honest the last time I was on a bike (a 250 crosser with 1st,2nd, and accessional 3rd when it decided to work,) was when I was 17. Non the less I have had the stupid idea to ride back to England. I understand this is quite nuts, but I've never been one for normality. Thanks in advance to any help given, p.s I've picked up the bike I'll be doing it on and I'm not up to date on current models, so had to go off advice from friends and research but I have picked up a Suzuki 2008 v storm 650 tourer, with the 23l fuel tank, l was wondering if I managed to cock it up already or if I made a good choice, once again sorry if I sound a complete idiot, but all I've ever done is get into that cycle of working every hour god sends and has a result, this is the first time I've traveled, so I'm the novice of all novices!

You need to read these in detail, recognize both countries' "rules"/ practice are changing, and may change again
by time you travel.

p.s. you'll find lots of help/ info here, and you'll get it faster and better if you also use the HUBB 'Search' function.

your bike will make the trip, depending on lots of other variables.

welcome and good luck!

Been planning for a long time to do a similar trip. And your bike is a great choice. I still wonder if I should have got one of those instead go for it. Just ride

When are you planning to set off?

We will be in OZ by June to ride home to the UK.
