Only one crossing option for foreigners between Pakistan and Iran (Taftan-Mir Javeh).

Crossing Burma is probably not an option. China could be, if you're rich enough (but Tibet still a ?-mark). Plenty of discussion about these at Southern Asia-section.

Tibet i know and no attention to travel in there at this point but lets see the burma as there has been foreing bikes already and still checking any change to get passing by.
China, No for me, as that is also know about cost of it and they will never open up to rest of the world when praising is considered.

What is then best Iran - Turkey crossing?

There have been foreign bikes in Burma just now. But on a pre-arranged trip, with a fixed itinerary, and I don't think they were allowed to go anywhere near India. Maybe someone soon proves me wrong, but crossing whole Burma still does not seem "do-able" IMO. (but on the other hand, I never tried it)..

Iran to Turkey, I don't know which border is best, but at least I had no problems using the one directly east from Dogubayazit (going TR -> IR). But this was in -07. After Iran, getting into Turkey should be relatively easy.

I Know all about Burma and what's happening in here as i live here 17yrs already but not been there with bike yet.
but that is just minor and would be interesting to hear from those of HUBB riders who been there already as i know they are here as well.

It's good to see Helsinki rider here as i'm originally from "Kalliosta" and we have many really nice FIN riders here as well and few RTW riders as well

Bhutan is $250pp/day (215 for double occupancy) and there are 2 borders - both with india only. chennai - bangkok (or KL) is definitely a shipping route option. BKK-Kathmandu as well.
