Switzerland to Split
 

Hello fellow adventure tour riders. I'm trying to get some routing tips on a planned ride between Zurich and Split, Croatia...Would like to hit the Dolomites and Stelvio area as well as some of Western Austria, etc. on way into Serbia/Croatia. Any thing that is an absolute must do?

The route over Timmeljock is pretty spectacular - we did Switzerland to Split 2 years ago.

your route depend what time of the year you want to ride.... still lots of snow in the mountains

avoid the weekends in the mountains, too much traffic :(

avoid speeding, in Switzerland and Austria very expensive :oops2:
