I agree ... due to your lack of experience, this will actually be less stressful. You wont have to worry about inadvertenly breaking laws (at least not as much).

Also, you will meet more people this way. Especially if you travel alone, which I would always recommend. The experience is heightened a 1000 times when travelling alone.

True, but the experience is lessened a 1000 times when you take a bus...a bus in a group, and you're pretty much off the charts!
