I would go from Algeciras to Tanger Med.
Get your tickets from Carlos on the way.

Just be patient getting through customs on the other side. There is a place after customs where you can get money and insurance.

Have a look here for paperwork info and pretty much everything else about Morocco.

The exit is straight out onto the motorway.

Nick.

I have been to Spain and Marocco this spring.
Can confirm what´s already written.
You can obtain a ferry ticket at the harbour, you don´t need a fixer.
It´s easy, either you already have an insurance or you buy on the maroccan boarder.
I wsatyed at hostal Blumen in algerceiras, which was practical, but my bike was run over in their garage and noone took respnsibilty although it was obvious it was the cooks car who hit my bike.
Ajgeceiras-Tanger ist the smoothest I drove dirctly to Chefchauen, try and stay at Terries hostel. I think its something with Scotch (Scotsman...) hard to find but worth it, a real homestay with all moroccan opportunities!!
chefchaouen is a good and smooth startup for the rest of Marocco, enjoy and ride safe...:scooter:
