Shipping my Bike from Tbilisi to Baku
 

Hi Please could anybody recommend a freight company that could ship my bike from Tbilisi by road to Baku? I'm planning to be in Georgia in June.

I'm curious, how did you resolve this?

I'm in the same situation. Lite bit expensive, but I think in this moment is the only solution. Thanks for the info.

Hi, I used to live in Baku as an expat (hence my profile name) from 2005-19, owning various bikes from KTM400 to a panigalle 1199s out there.

I also used to work for extended periods in Tbilisi travelling regularly between the two.

My recollection of bringing anything into Azerbaijan (or out of it for that matter) was it was really challenging - a lot of process and paperwork.

In the end I used a local bike dealer (Sabir from MotoMondo) who helped me with the process. Without his help it would have been impossible for me.

I used Rory to transport my motorbike from Tbilisi to Baku, it went smoothly and Rory was very helpful throughout the process. His instructions were good guidelines.

I’ve heard some travelers used shuttle companies like Aras or Omnibus for gear transport between Tbilisi and Baku — might not be listed online, but local travel agents or guesthouses can usually help set it up. Just be sure to get clear info on customs when crossing with a bike.
