Shipping/air freight USA to Spain or Morocco Suggestions Please
 

Hi All, I'm looking for suggestions on how to get from the US to Spain or Morocco, so far my enquiries show that US to Spain can be difficult, there are flights from Canada to Europe (Spain?) and there is a RORO service in Mexico direct to Spain. Can anybody shed any light please. I'm in Australia with plans to ship from here to Los Angeles.

Shipping is quite expensive. Most of the posts on advrider show air canada as the most economic choice to ship to Europe. Another option is to leave your bike at home and go the "buy-ride -sell" route on each continent. There are many good used bikes for sale in the states.

I did a lot of research a couple of years ago, going the other way but the reverse should be similar.
I assume your destination is Morocco.

Shipping (cargo ship) has a lot of problems since Covid, RoRo is a lot of hassle.

Best, all round package for us was to use Motorcycle Express to fly our bikes from Paris to Montreal with Air Transat.
Motorcycle Express were brilliant and you get a discount on your flight if you fly with Transat - in fact we flew on the same plane as our bikes which made it so convenient at the other end.

The ride down to south Spain / Morocco can be done in 4 nice days or you can take in some of the TET, especially in the Pyrenees.
